Most brides are pretty organised these days for their Wedding Day, but Donna was amazingly so. There was no rush or fluster on the morning of her wedding, just lots of fun enjoying the company of her family and bridesmaids........ and she was dressed and ready to go well ahead of time. So it was great to be able to spend a little bit of time photographing her around her parents lovely garden before leaving for the ceremony.
The biggest problem was trying to find a cool spot. This day was hot, even by 10am! But I have to take my hat off to the entire bridal party - they were agreeable to pretty much everything I suggested. Even by the end of the shoot they didn't appear to be wilting (much) - unlike the flowers, which didn't fair quite so well in the unrelenting sun.
Donna's dress was beautiful, and a little hard to explain the colour - I was definitely mesmerised - it was off-white with a hint of 'coffee' rather than cream. And the bridesmaids were in what I'd describe as 'latte' or 'mocha' (the colours kept changing in the different light).
Donna and Murray, thank you for such a lovely day. Here is a sneak peek of your images:
