'Snuggly Boy' totally sums up this wee 11 day old lad. He was just so awesome, and long awaited by Mum and Dad.
When I arrived he was being fed, and Mum said he'd be off to sleep in a jif. But not him, he wanted to be awake. The reason I say he was so awesome is that he didn't wave his arms and legs around like other wakeful babys. He just lay there and was totally chilled, checking me out. He allowed me to move his arms and legs within reason, and told me when he didn't like the position.
After a bit more tucker, he still didn't want to close those eyes. But with a brief snuggle by Mum, he was totally out to it. So I was able to try a couple of positions that I haven't managed with other newborns.
