"As a qualified Midwife I have a particular passion for photographing maternity/ pregnancy and newborns.

I love capturing those special times in people's lives that mean so much - from engagement shoots to weddings, the nervous expectation of maternity to the sheer delight and love of a newborn. And then having the pleasure to capture the personalities and changes as a child grows".

New cats

I am sad to say that I finally had to put down my 18yr old loyal companion (my precious puss 'Possum'). Which left us with just our black cat 'Simba' (aka Simmy). I had previously told the kids that once one of our cats went then we would get two kittens. Unfortunately the SPCA had an adult grey cat (I have always wanted a plain grey puss, and it is always harder finding homes for the adult cats). Plus there were two very cute silver tabbys. So to cut a long story short, we arrived home with three SPCA specials - I had to agree that I would stop asking for a hen house, as I had to relent the idea of chooks!

But aren't they beautiful. They have all settled in really well.

This is my beautiful Bella. She is only 1 yr old, so still a kitten at heart. Very graceful, and has made herself right at home on my bed!

Introducing Jake and Jazza, they are brother and sister. The only way to tell them apart is that Jazza has white around the back of her neck, whereas Jake has continuous colouring up his back to his head.

They are just so soft and great for the kids as they tolerate being picked up and laid backwards in your arms like a baby. They don't even struggle, and the kids cart them around like this all the time. They purr so loud it is almost deafening! (Especially at 5.30am!)
