"As a qualified Midwife I have a particular passion for photographing maternity/ pregnancy and newborns.
I love capturing those special times in people's lives that mean so much - from engagement shoots to weddings, the nervous expectation of maternity to the sheer delight and love of a newborn. And then having the pleasure to capture the personalities and changes as a child grows".

Whangarei Wedding Photographer - Emma & Luke
I was privaledged to be a part of Luke and Emma's wedding day on Saturday, at Rangiputa, Far North. The weather was exceptionally hot, even with a strong wind at the beach, it was hot! Emma's grandparent's magnificent garden setting was stunning to say the least (even with the large pond being dry due to the drought)! The day was a lot of fun. Here is a sneak peek at a couple of their images.
Whangarei Photographer - Mr B
January has been a busy time with children home for school holidays, and parents deciding to get portraits of their children while the sun is shining. I had the pleasure of photographing Mr B with his parents, brother and sister. And I was even luckier that Mr B found his sister to be very funny. Check out this wee boy's grin! At just 6 months old this little man was only just sitting, and he wasn't too impressed with sitting on the grass!
Whangarei Photographer - Busy Mr J
The park is a great place to photograph a very busy 1 year old. Luckily his mum and dad were prepared with some favourite toys, including a toy lawnmower. What clever parents to think of a way to slow down a toddler!
Whangarei Photographer - Gorgeous Mr N
Early December I met up with Mr N and his mum at a local park. It was a lovely warm summers day. We worked hard trying to capture some smiles, but little Mr N decided playing was very serious stuff. Even so he was a perfect model, and check out his hypnotising big blue eyes!
Newborn Photo Call
Towards the end of October 2009 I asked for newborn children to photograph, between the age of 6 and 10 days old. Thank you so much to the parents of these littlies for allowing me to photograph their precious children. I had a blast and totally fell in love with each and every one of them, with their very unique personalities, even at such young ages. I have posted just a few of their images.
